  Giving to the Library

Donate a Book

The Andover Public Library is happy to accept donations of

books, both hardcover and paperback. However, we cannot

accept magazines, textbooks and other reference materials

that are quickly outdated. If the library cannot use the

donated books on our shelves, we sell them to raise money

for children's programming in the library.

Donating your used books to the library is a good way to

recycle books you no longer want and help the library at the

same time. A gift of used books to the library can also be tax

  deductible.

For more information about donating books to libraries, check out this informative article by Ruth DeWitt, Friends Coordinator at the Lawrence Public Library.
